Bread Katori Chaat | Tokari Chaat Recipe with step by step pics

Hello Foodies,
Love eating spicy and tangy katori chaats but find it a daunting task to make katoris from scratch? I have got you covered 😉 Presenting Bread Katori Chaat. As the name suggests, the chaat literally resembles a cup which is overloaded with a whole bunch of ingredients and tastes incredibly delicious 😋

Traditionally the katoris (cups) are made with Maida (APF) and deep fried. To simplify this lengthy process I made the katoris from bread and baked them till crisp and golden. I then filled the baked bread cups with boiled potatoes, boondi, sprouts, chopped onions, tomato, curd and chutneys. A sprinkle of salt, cumin powder, chaat masala , sev and coriander leaves and done! This enticing and wholesome bread katori chat can be served as a snack or as an appetizer before the main meal. Onto the recipe now

Notes –
The Bread Katori chaat can be made with different types of fillings. I have filled them with sprout chaat today but you can use fruit chaat, chana chaat, bhel or any other filling of your choice.
Make sure to fill the katoris just before serving , otherwise they will turn soggy.
