Prawn Sukka-Mangalorean style Yetti sukka recipe with step by step Pics

Prawn Sukka (Sigadi Sukka) – is a delectable coastal seafood from Mangalore. It is popular as Yetti Sukka or Yetti Ajadina in Tulu.If you’re a fan of traditional, coastal seafood delicacies then you will definitely love the lip-smacking Prawn Sukka. The aroma of the prawns being cooked in a typical Mangalorean style masala and grated coconut is simply appetizing. The colour of the masala is a feast for the eyes and the taste a treat for your taste-buds .You are sure to enjoy the fantastic prawns sukka to the last bite.
My favourite way to serve this has got to be with boiled rice and a simple rasam but then you can serve them with white rice, neer dosa , appams or chapatis. They will taste equally delicious! Go ahead and make this recipe and impress your family and friends 😉

Note:

*The prawns have to be cleaned well by removing its head and shell. Devein them by making a shallow slit down the middle of the back with a paring knife to expose the black or white vein.Lift out the vein with the point of the knife and pull the vein out gently with your fingers.Use the knife to pry away any flesh that might be getting in the way. Discard the vein once you’ve pulled it out. Click Peel-and-Devein-Shrimp to get step by step instruction on how to devien prawns by wikihow .
